Authorize a representative: Your Energy Rebate Program applications
Have someone represent you or speak on your behalf about the Your Energy Rebate Program application by submitting a Letter of Authority Authorization Form to authorize a representative. You can submit the form when you apply for the Your Energy Rebate Program or at any point during the application process.

Who can use this form
You need to use this form if you’re a Your Energy Rebate Program applicant and want to have someone else represent you or speak on your behalf about the application. Your application needs to be for 1 of the following:
- residential property energy rebate
- partly residential property energy rebate
- partly residential condominium property energy rebate
You need to submit a separate Letter of Authority Authorization Form for each new application and to authorize additional representatives.
What you need to do
- Complete the form.
- Send your completed form by mail or email. Or drop it off at the Business Registration Unit.
Before you start
Make sure you:
- apply for the Your Energy Rebate Program
- have the file number for the Your Energy Rebate Program application (assigned by the Provincial Tax Commission)
- fill in the name of the Your Energy Rebate Program application next to ‘Application Type’ on the Letter of Authority Authorization Form
