The Tuition Waiver Program helps make post-secondary education more accessible to former children in care or youth who received youth services through the Department of Community Services between the ages of 16 and 18 under the Children and Family Services Act. Who can use this form

  • you’re a Former Child in Permanent Care
  • you received youth services through the Department of Community Services between the ages of 16 and 18 under the Children and Family Services Act
  • you’re adopted and were a former child in permanent care in Nova Scotia

How long it takes
