Interjurisdictional carriers registered in Nova Scotia with an International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) Licence can use a credit card, cheque or money order to pay for an IFTA Licence, decals and other fees.

IFTA fees that can be paid include:
- annual licence
- decals
- quarterly tax return
- outstanding balances

Interjurisdictional carriers registered in Nova Scotia can use this form.
What you need to do
- Complete the form.
- Include payment with your form.
- Send your completed form and payment by mail. Or drop it off at the Business Registration Unit.
Payment options
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cheque, money order. A cheque or money order should be made payable to the Minister of Finance. Payment options may vary depending on how you make a payment.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- your IFTA account number
- a copy of the billing notice for your quarterly tax return if you want to pay it
- number of decals you’re ordering (if any)
