Interjurisdictional carriers registered in Nova Scotia with an International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) Licence can use a credit card, cheque or money order to pay for an IFTA Licence, decals and other fees.
Use the International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) Credit Card Payment Form if you want to pay for an IFTA Licence, decals and other fees using a credit card, cheque or money order.
IFTA fees that can be paid include:
- annual licence
- quarterly tax return
- outstanding balances

Interjurisdictional carriers registered in Nova Scotia can use this form.
What you need to do
- Complete the form.
- Include payment with your form.
- Send your completed form and payment by mail or fax. Or drop it off at the Business Registration Unit.
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cheque, money order. A cheque or money order should be made payable to the Minister of Finance. Payment options may vary depending on how you make a payment.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- your IFTA account number
- a copy of the billing notice for your quarterly tax return if you want to pay it
- number of decals you’re ordering (if any)
