The Converting Director’s Orders into Orders of the Small Claims Court Policy (Policy 9) outlines how an Order of the Director can be made an Order of the Small Claims Court if it’s not appealed. Once it’s an Order of the Small Claims Court, it can be enforced in the same way as other court orders.
This policy explains that an Order of the Director under the Residential Tenancies Act can be made an Order of the Small Claims Court if it hasn’t been appealed. As an Order of the Small Claims Court, the order can be enforced in the way of all other court orders.
