Interjurisdictional carriers registered in Nova Scotia need to use this form to change or update the carrier information on their IFTA Licence, including:
- business name
- Business Number from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)
- civic or mailing address
- business contact person
What you need to do
- Complete the form online.
- Check the form for details on all required supporting documents.
- Submit your completed form and any supporting documents.
How long it takes
It should take 2 weeks to get your revised IFTA Licence. It can take longer if more information is needed or if your form hasn’t been filled in correctly.
Cost
There is no cost to submit the form.
Before you start
Make sure you have:
- your IFTA account number
- copy of name change documentation from Registry of Joint Stock Companies if you’re changing your business name
- copy of your Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Business Number if you have a new business number
- International Fuel Tax Agreement Letter of Authority Form if you have a new business contact person

When you submit the form online you need to create an account or sign in. You can’t access the form online if you’re outside North America or your computer’s IP address is outside North America.
