Eligibility

You need to be 19 or older. You also need to have completed the Serve Right Manager Training and the Best Security Staff Training Program.

How to apply

  1. Complete the application form.
  2. Get the form notarized by a justice of the peace, commissioner of oaths or at the Alcohol, Gaming, Fuel and Tobacco Division.
  3. Check the application for details on all required supporting documents.
  4. Send your completed application and supporting documents by mail, email or fax. Or visit the Alcohol, Gaming, Fuel and Tobacco Division.

How long it takes

It should take 2 to 3 weeks to get the approval. It can take longer if more information is needed or if your application hasn’t been filled in correctly.

Cost

There is no cost to apply, but there is a cost for the Serve Right Manager Training.

Make sure you have:

  • completed the Serve Right Manager Training (keep a copy of the Certificate of Completion for your records)
  • completed the Best Security Staff Training Program (keep a copy of the Certificate of Completion for your records)
  • justice of the peace or commissioner of oaths notarize the form, or visit the Alcohol, Gaming, Fuel and Tobacco Division to notarize the form
