Dal Microcredentials meet specific criteria set by Dalhousie University and offer a level of assurance to employers that the recipient has successfully demonstrated that skill or competency to a desired specification. For learners, they build confidence and competence to both communicate and demonstrate a skill or competency. For employers, they make recruitment, hiring, and selection processes more efficient. Dal Microcredentials may be designed to build skills/competencies across multiple sectors, a profession, or role. Other Dal Microcredentials are designed to upskill or reskill employees in a specific workplace setting adding momentum and value to employee learning programs and practices.
