Office of Regulatory Affairs and Service Effectiveness

The Office of Regulatory Affairs and Service Effectiveness helps government identify and remove regulatory burdens for businesses and citizens. We monitor regulatory impact (time and money) of legislative and regulatory proposals and process change. We also advise on best practice in regulation, regulatory reform and service effectiveness to make it easier for businesses and citizens to understand and comply with regulations.

The office also helps make sure that the health, safety and wellbeing of people, communities and the environment are protected when regulatory burden is reduced.
