We help create healthy communities, and promote healthy living. The department works to support a sustainable healthcare system through funding, strategic policy direction, priorities and standards. We provide leadership for the delivery of healthcare that is provided by the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) and the Izaak Walton Killam Health Centre (IWK).
